Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: June 29, 2026

GetCheapThings participates in affiliate programs. This page explains what that means and how it affects the deals you see. We also show short disclosures near deal links on individual product pages.

Material connection

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires us to disclose when we have a "material connection" to a product or retailer — meaning we may receive compensation if you click a link and make a purchase. That relationship does not change the price you pay.

How we earn commissions

Many "View on [store]" buttons and deal links on GetCheapThings are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one of these links, we may earn a small commission from the retailer or its affiliate network. Commissions help cover hosting and keep the site independent and ad-light.

Retailers we link to

We currently feature deals from retailers including:

  • Amazon — As an Amazon Associate, GetCheapThings earns from qualifying purchases.
  • Walmart — We may earn fees through Walmart’s affiliate program when you shop via our links.
  • Target — We may earn fees through Target’s affiliate program when you shop via our links.

Other stores may be added over time; the same disclosure applies to any affiliate-linked retailer on the Site.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not determine which deals we list. We prioritize verified prices and genuine savings. A product’s commission rate does not affect whether it appears on GetCheapThings or how it is ranked.

What we do not do

  • Charge you extra for using our links
  • Hide affiliate relationships — deal pages label outbound links and include this disclosure
  • Guarantee that every link on the site is an affiliate link; some links may be provided for convenience only
