Last updated: June 29, 2026

GetCheapThings ("we," "us") operates getcheapthings.com, a deals site that links to retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Contact form. If you use our contact page, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can read and respond to your note.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Railway) may automatically record standard technical data when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and request timestamps. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.

No accounts. GetCheapThings does not offer user accounts or a checkout. We do not ask you to create a password or store a shopping profile on our site.

Affiliate links and retailer cookies

When you click a deal link, you leave GetCheapThings and go to a retailer’s website. That retailer (and its affiliate network) may set cookies or similar technologies to track that you arrived from an affiliate link. We do not control those cookies. Please review the retailer’s privacy policy for details.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) or advertising pixels on GetCheapThings. If that changes, we will update this policy.

How we use your information

  • Respond to contact form messages
  • Operate, maintain, and protect the website
  • Improve deal listings and site content

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s standard retention practices.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you submitted through our contact form by emailing us via the contact page.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion, subject to certain exceptions. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

GetCheapThings is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
